Assistant Global Security roles and other cybersecurity positions can reach or exceed $200,000 annually, especially with advanced skills, certifications like CISSP, and experience in high-demand areas such as threat analysis or security architecture. However, practical experience, certifications like CISSP or CISM, and relevant skills often weigh more in hiring decisions than the degree alone.

What does a security assistant do?

A security assistant supports security operations by monitoring surveillance systems, conducting security checks, and assisting with access control. They may also help prepare reports, respond to incidents, and ensure safety protocols are followed, often working under the supervision of security managers or officers.
