Job Summary:
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California, building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. The Maintenance Controller will provide expert guidance and project management for the implementation of TRAX eMRO and eMobility systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and coordinating with various stakeholders to refine processes and workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Provide expert guidance, knowledge and project management for all aspects related to the implementation of TRAX eMRO and TRAX eMobility systems, ensuring a seamless integration with existing system interfaces including SAP and future aircraft movement control and pilot related apps.
• Serve as administrator and main point of contact for all queries and management of weblog communication with Trax concerning issues that require resolution.
• Coordinate with Archer airline and OEM internal and external stakeholders to create, map and refine process, data and work flows as the commercial business expands.
• Distill complex technical and process issues for cross functional teams to find solutions for issues or for continuous improvement purposes.
• Coordinate with the Airlines department to reduce duplication of efforts in relation to Trax instances including modification requests, API integrations, new software version deployments and any associated testing and validation efforts.
• Assist Flight Test users with related issues or processes related to their required job functions.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, ATA standards and Company policy.
• Review and revise technical data files as needed for upload in the development, test and production environments as needed
• Create user guides and SOPs pertaining to Trax administrative and Flight Test functions as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of airline operations experience.
• 3+ years of experience in airline software implementation project management and/or product ownership, Trax-specific experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of API architecture for the integration of multiple software programs.
• SQL & Jasper reports
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, OEM manuals, service bulletins, maintenance procedures, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Superior project management and organizational skills including the ability to map process and data flows and to facilitate discussions with internal and external departments concerning implementation of new processes, procedures and APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, influence and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
