Job description

The position supports the company's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. It's a hands-on role that contributes to both daily transactional work and higher-level financial reporting, with exposure to audit preparation and acquisition integration. The role reports to the Controller and works closely with other accounting team members.
  • Support various month end tasks.
    • Assist with preparation and posting of month end journal entries.
    • Process month-end tasks in the ERP system.
    • Reconcile reports and account balances to ensure accuracy.
    • Produce timely financial results in line with GAAP standards.
  • Assist with year-end audit activities.
    • Prepare schedules and documentation for annual financial audits.
    • Support external auditors by providing requested information.
    • Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of A/R and A/P functions.
    • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure accurate and timely processing.
    • Drive efficiencies that support accurate financial reporting and business growth.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Support financial due diligence and integration efforts related to acquisitions.
    • Assist with onboarding acquired entities into accounting systems.
    • Help align policies, processes, and financial reporting with company standards.
