Job description

Financial Administrator Position Description:

The Financial Administrator is a detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated, and highly organized. The Financial Administrator oversees administrative duties at GOCC and ensures that the office operates smoothly and efficiently, while working with staff, congregation, church leadership, and vendors. This position requires flexibility, integrity, and the ability to prioritize.

General Expectations:

● Live out a personal relationship with Jesus.

● Must personify the biblical expectations of a leader as outlined in I Peter 5:1-5.

● Perform all duties with integrity, humility, and grace towards all associated with GOCC.

● Adhere to and agree with Great Oaks Community Church policies, procedures, and beliefs as expressed in our mission and in
compliance with the staff handbook.

Key Responsibilities:

● Executive Assistant to two pastors

● Finances: tithing deposits, expenses, payroll, insurances, contribution records, audits, vehicle registrations, etc.

● Maintain employment documentation and assist in new employee onboarding.

● Documentation management

● Manage benevolence applicants.

● Oversees office supplies, facility services, as well other vendors.

● Assists Executive Pastor with HR responsibilities.

● Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

● Proficient in Bill.com, Tallie, and Sage Intacct Accounting Software (CLA - Clifton Larson Anderson)

● An understanding of Google Suite and Planning Center is preferred.

● Ability to keep information confidential.

● Team player

● Willing to help where needed.

● Highly self-motivated

● Preferred: An associate's degree in Finance
