Job description

Content Creator + Editor + Administrative AssistantJim Glover Auto Family

This isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to help people feel something about a dealership.

At the Jim Glover Auto Family, we believe people don’t connect with businesses—they connect with people. Our mission is to create an experience that feels honest, fun, and real… long before a customer ever steps onto the lot.

We’re looking for someone who can bring that to life—both on camera and behind the scenes.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Content Creator / Video Editor hybrid who also thrives in a supportive administrative role, working directly alongside ownership and leadership.

This is a creative + detail-driven position where your ability to tell stories through video is just as important as your ability to stay organized and execute.

You won’t just make content…
You’ll help shape how people experience our brand.

What You’ll Do (Creative)
  • Create daily short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
  • Film real, unscripted moments that showcase our team and culture
  • Produce a mix of:
    • Fun, personality-driven videos
    • Informative, value-driven content (car buying tips, ownership insights)
  • Help develop and execute creative campaigns and promotions
  • Stay ahead of trends and consistently bring fresh ideas

The goal:
Make customers feel like
“I already know these people.”

Editing + Production
  • Edit high-retention, engaging videos optimized for social media
  • Add captions, music, sound effects, and pacing that keeps attention
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity
  • Turn everyday footage into polished, compelling content

Administrative Support
  • Assist ownership and leadership with scheduling and organization
  • Help manage details, follow-ups, and communication across projects
  • Support events, campaigns, and internal coordination
  • Be a dependable right-hand to help keep operations running smoothly

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
  • Proven experience creating and editing content for social media
  • Strong understanding of what performs on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Ability to both film and edit independently
  • Portfolio or examples of past work required

If you haven’t created and edited content before, this role will not be a fit.

Who You Are
  • Creative, energetic, and full of ideas
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable directing and filming people on the fly
  • A self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be told
  • Able to balance creative output with structured responsibilities
  • Positive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

What Makes This Role Different
  • Work directly alongside ownership
  • Have a real voice in creative direction
  • Be part of building a brand people genuinely connect with
  • A unique mix of creativity and responsibility—no two days look the same

Compensation
  • Pay based on experience
  • Opportunity for growth as the role expands

The Mission

To create content and experiences that make people say:
“That’s where I want to do business.”
