Job Summary:  The Integration Technician III serves as the senior-level field technician responsible for leading and executing advanced installation, repair, modification, optimization, and acceptance testing of wireless and electrical equipment across complex network environments. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. The position plays a key role in training team members, coordinating integration activities, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
   Lead and execute complex cell site deployments, performing advanced installation, commissioning, and integration of wireless and electrical equipment across multiple technologies, bands, and vendors with minimal supervision
    Serve as a trusted resource in the isolation, diagnosis, and resolution of complex hardware, software, transport, and air interface malfunctions using advanced test equipment, OEM tools, and performance data analysis
    Independently load, customize, validate, and optimize customer software, scripts, and configurations using specialty programs to ensure full network functionality and customer acceptance
   Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced cellular, transport, and performance issues, including those impacting network stability, capacity, and quality, providing root cause analysis when required
   Perform and oversee comprehensive call testing, alarm testing, and system validation activities, ensuring sites meet or exceed customer and quality standards
   Install, configure, and verify cellular equipment and supporting components at ground level, ensuring strict compliance with engineering specifications, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practices
   Model safe behavior on-site and ensure crew participation in all safety protocols, meetings, and briefings 
   Complete required documentation accurately, including daily reports, quality checklists, and site photos
   Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and vehicles
   Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools, materials, and waste are properly handled and disposed of 
   Assist the foreman in training, mentoring, and supporting less experienced team members in both technical skills and safety practices 
   Travel regularly to job sites, which may include overnight stays 
   Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
 
Education: High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education
 
Experience: 
   Three to five years of progressive experience in the wireless telecommunications industry
   Experience overseeing crews and supporting field operations
   Proven ability to complete complex integration work independently and guide others 
   Must have or obtain and maintain OSHA 30 Construction Training Card 
   Must have or obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certification
   Must have or obtain and maintain Competent Rigging and Hoisting Certification 
   Other relevant certifications may be required per the scope of work being performed (i.e. NWSA Certification, Hazcom Certification, Blood Born Pathogen Certification, RF Safety Certification etc.) 
   Must have or obtain RF Radiation Safety & Awareness certification
 
Technical Skills:
   Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
   Advanced mathematical skills and calculation ability 
   Advanced knowledge of cell site service monitors, RF test equipment, and T1 test equipment
   Proficient in reading and interpreting radio frequency data sheets
   Proficient in the use of hand and power tools 
   Competence with GPS, test equipment, and site audit tools
 
Soft Skills:
   Strong leadership and decision-making skills 
   Follows safety protocols and installation procedures with accuracy and care, and requires others to do the same
   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
   Works effectively with crew members and foreman; supports a positive and collaborative work environment 
   Ability to manage time and resources efficiently
   Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems 
   Maintains awareness of surroundings and safety risks while working at heights and with heavy equipment 
   Encourages continuous improvement and identifies areas for process enhancement
 
Physical Requirements: 
   Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
   Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirements
   Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly 
   Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and grasp materials and tools with both hands
   Ability to work long hours in outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, wind, or snow 
   Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time 
   Ability to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
   Ability to work in various settings with moderate to loud noise levels  
   Ability to work long and unpredictable hours 
   Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including short notice travel. Travel includes local site travel or national travel depending on business needs
$20 - $30 an hour
