Overview
The Picnic Lead oversees assigned picnic events from planning through completion, supervising event staff and ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience. This role serves as the primary point of contact for event execution and customer satisfaction.
This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00-$15.00
Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open until September 18, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support staff in designated picnic areas
  • Coordinate event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure on-time execution
  • Assign duties and provide leadership and guidance to picnic staff
  • Serve as a liaison between guests, clients, and facility staff
  • Monitor food service timing, quality, and cleanup
  • Address and resolve event-related issues or guest concerns professionally
  • Maintain clean, organized work and service areas
  • Assist with advance preparation for upcoming picnic events
  • Communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 1-2+ year of experience in event operations or event management preferred
  • Strong customer service, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented event environment
  • Knowledge of event operations and crowd management principles preferred
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long nights, weekends, & holidays as needed.
