Job description

Who We Are

The magazine is a global media vehicle currently headquartered in the โ€œNew York and New Jersey metropolitan areaโ€, that aims to revolutionize the publishing industry. Currently, we are a fully remote publication with the goal of recruiting 120 new magazine personnel and volunteers throughout the United States, and globally. Our main mailing address is at: 13 Municipal Plaza, Box 1845, Bloomfield, New Jersey 07003. BUTOโ€™s mission is to shine a light on as well as set new and upcoming fashion trends for both women and men. We also seek to provide an alternative to the standard publications of today, by providing readers a more traditional array of ideas conspicuously absent in todayโ€™s fashion and news magazines as well as the news media. The magazine primary focus is to help America, and the world over to heal from the ongoing climate crisis; violence, bigotry, misogyny, disenfranchisement (of peopleโ€™s rights and privilegesโ€”especially minority voters); and the constant bombardment of disinformation by some in todayโ€™s media. We are not just a fashion vehicle, but a Powerful Movement that plans to change the world, and its people for the better by stitching all people together under one broad, sustaining, and beautiful quilt.

We plan to accomplish this mega-task by inspiring women and men to explore and celebrate [style] in every aspect of their lives to reveal their similarities, as opposed to the differences. We want people to be more tolerable of other individuals nonโ€‘destructive choices, rather than outright condemnation. And to be more aware of, and have a better understanding of the wider-worldโ€”and their individual place in it. Thereby, learning how to agree to disagreeโ€”while at the same time working toward a more equitable, peaceful, and humane society. If you are ready to take the next step in your career by joining BUTO in dressing and healing the world, apply now!

Furthermore, we do not discriminate in our hiring practices on the bases of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, gender identity, religion, ancestry, sexual orientation, marital status, mental or physical stature, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic which is protected by the federal government, state or local laws where discrimination is prohibited.
