Job description

General Summary We are seeking an experienced Red Hat Edge Manager Senior Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure and edge computing initiative in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a highly technical, client-facing consulting role focused on deploying, managing, and optimizing Red Hat edge infrastructure environments with a strong emphasis on virtualization technologies, including KVM.The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Red Hat platforms, edge computing architectures, virtualization, automation, and infrastructure operations in secure enterprise environments. This engagement is expected to run approximately 1,360 hours and requires onsite support in Fort Worth, TX.

An approved travel and expense budget is available for qualified consultants requiring travel support. Responsibilities Design, deploy, configure, and support Red Hat Edge Manager solutions within enterprise environments Implement and manage edge computing infrastructure and distributed systems Support virtualization environments utilizing KVM and related Red Hat technologies Perform system integration, configuration management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders to validate architecture and deployment strategies Assist with infrastructure modernization and edge platform standardization initiatives Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation procedures, and operational runbooks Support automation efforts related to provisioning, monitoring, patching, and lifecycle management Provide technical guidance and best practices for secure and scalable edge deployments Participate in client meetings, status updates, and technical workshops as needed Requirements Active Secret Clearance required Strong experience with Red Hat technologies and enterprise Linux environments Hands-on experience with Red Hat Edge Manager or related edge computing platforms Deep understanding of virtualization technologies, specifically KVM Experience supporting distributed infrastructure and edge environments Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning experience across Linux-based systems Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools Ability to work independently in a senior-level consulting capacity Strong communication and customer-facing consulting skills Ability to work onsite in Fort Worth, Texas * Travel flexibility as needed (approved travel and expense budget available)
