Job description

LOCATION: Anaheim, CA


PAY RANGE: $23/hr. - $28/hr. (based on experience)


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Filings in State Court.
  • Calendaring – Must have experience in calendaring court deadlines, discovery deadlines, reminders, etc.
  • Drafting Pleadings and Discovery (i.e. draft shells, proofread, cite check, perfect formatting, etc.);
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word (especially Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents for Motions);
  • Summarizing deposition transcripts;
  • Knowledge of law/motion and discovery deadlines pursuant to the CCP;
  • Conducting Intakes with Potential Clients;
  • Communicating with clients, setting up calls, and meetings; and
  • Familiarity with CasePEER is a plus.
  • Familiar with personal injury is a plus.
  • Must have computer literacy.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal required
