The Opportunity
Williams International has an Assistant Technician in our FAA-certified Repair Station. As an Assistant Technician, you will work with a team of specialists on our turbine engine products. Responsibilities include: Turbine engine and sub-component disassembly, high-tech cleaning of engine components, evaluation and testing of fuel nozzles, restocking fluids and hardware in support of engine reassembly, plus a variety of other tasks enabling you to quickly become a contributing member of our team, with the possibility of earning FAA Repairman Certification and moving into higher positions of responsibility.
Qualifications
  • Must have a high school degree, or equivalent
  • Beneficial to be mechanically inclined
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical lifting requirements include:
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches)
    • Capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds
    • A grip strength of at least 50 pounds
    • Able to reach above the shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum)
  • S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
