Job description

We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Bloomfield Hills to support our corporate housing division VIA.
What are the responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant?
  • Prepare internal and external correspondence
  • Organize and maintain accurate files, records, reports, contact lists, policies, and procedures
  • Create documents in Microsoft Word and Yardi, such as written correspondence, reports, emails, and memos
  • Upload documents into OPP and confirm the pet information
  • Perform the ID verify process
  • Create spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to summarize data
  • Order furniture for units
  • Create leases and units in Yardi
  • Assist with setting up bank accounts and renters' insurance
  • Send arrival information to residents
  • Maintain utility setups and disconnects for move ins and move outs
  • Inventory control of modem/routers

What are the role requirements?
  • Previous experience in the property management field is preferred
  • Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Requires a positive attitude and exceptional customer service
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially with Word and Excel
  • Able to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers
  • Basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs
  • Have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
