Assistant Director, Network Innovations Programs

As a member of the Network Innovations team, our Assistant Director, Network Innovations Programs partners with VP leadership to develop, execute, and track provider partnership strategies and alternative payment models (APMs) across all markets and lines of business. This role leads a team managing primary care and specialty APM programs while supporting the broader organization through strategic projects, data insights, executive communications, and administrative oversight - all in service of making our members' health journeys easier.

What You Bring to Cambia:

Qualifications:

  • The Assistant Director of Network Innovations would have a bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 7 years of experience working directly with senior management to identify, develop, and execute strategic initiatives related to healthcare insurance or healthcare delivery including experience with value-based provider payment methodologies and program development, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across all organizational levels, with the ability to resolve complex issues, build consensus among diverse stakeholders, and effectively influence internal teams

  • Deep expertise in health insurance industry trends, reimbursement methods, value-based payment models, and APM program design and implementation for primary care, specialty, and facility contracts

  • Demonstrated strategic planning, analytical ability, and experience constructing actionable business and financial strategies

  • Proven ability to initiate, track, and manage business transformation projects while leading change across multiple locations, lines of business, and functions

  • Ability to identify efficiency opportunities and assist with measurements to determine operational outcomes

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively about complex business challenges and clarify key issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive-level communications and strategic documents

  • Proven team player with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others while thriving in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Do at Cambia:

  • Uses strong knowledge of department strategies and initiatives to represent Network Innovations in various internal and external forums.

  • Provides thought leadership, analytical thinking and industry expertise to the development of foundational APM program and growth strategies.

  • Helps develop and communicate organizational objectives and team goals related to APM development, implementation, and maintenance/improvement. Ensures objectives remain consistent with the overall Network Innovations and organizational business strategy. Tracks objectives to ensure results are achieved on schedule, within budget, and according to defined scope.

  • Represents the VP Network Innovations as needed on specific projects and initiatives. Follows-up on information or actions needed to ensure completion of deliverables. Identifies critical risks and issues and drives issue resolution; appropriately escalates issues to Network Innovations leadership or key stakeholders. Raises awareness regarding critical project dependencies and ensures that all requirements are communicated to relevant work streams and business partners.

  • Provides management to direct and/or virtual team members.

Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history.

The expected hiring range is$148,800 - $201,300 and the full salary range is$140,000 - $228,000 and the bonus target is20%.
