The Role: As our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), youll play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of care we provide. Youll work hand-in-hand with the Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and inspire our dedicated nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. This is your chance to shine as a mentor, problem-solver, and champion of quality care.
What Youll Do:
  • Collaborate with the DON to oversee the daily operations of our nursing department.
  • Support and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in care planning, assessments, and interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care outcomes.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new nursing staff.
  • Step in for the DON as needed and be the go-to person for staff and residents.
What Were Looking For:
  • An RN license in good standing in the state of Indiana.
  • At least 1 years of nursing leadership experience (long-term care experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
