What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Assistant Development Editor, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Assistant Development Editor, you need strong editorial skills, attention to detail, and a relevant degree in English, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), editorial style guides, and software like Microsoft Word or Adobe InCopy is typically required.
