Job description

This position assists leadership in cash and wrap operations and receives,
stores, inventories, and prices donated merchandise as directed by the
Treasures'/Treasures' Too Manager.
This position is part-time (20 - 28 hours/week).
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one (1) year cashier experience.
  • Operate registers and credit card/debit card terminals. This includes performing basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Greet and assist customers on sales floor.
  • Assist donors with unloading donated merchandise in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Receive donated merchandise and processes it per Treasures' Too policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of proper handling of merchandise, to include boxing, stacking, and unpacking.
  • Ability to move and handle merchandise throughout the store, generally weighing 0-50 pounds.
  • Clean and maintain retail areas, storage areas, and store front in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to climb, balance, walk, stoop, stand, and/or sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the building including upstairs, stock area, store area, office, and outside storage area.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including Saturdays.
  • Ability to respond well to supervision and to work independently.
