Job Description

For this role you'll be part of the Global team for Samsung, one of the most dynamic and exciting brands in the agency.

As a Senior Global Data Analyst will be a key member of the Analytics team responsible for campaign analysis & reporting across multiple Global work streams with a focus on the Mobile division. Working closely with internal teams, including Media, Strategy, Data Governance, TAAG, you will need to understand media strategies and provide analysis to demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of paid media campaigns. 

With strong experience and understanding in media analytics concepts and practices, you will communicate and share your expertise with the DNA team, as well as global/local agency teams and Samsung client contacts.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in building Global media reporting strategies, measurement frameworks, analytics models & set measurement KPIs 
  • Gather local market media reporting, insights and analysis to then synthesize into a global summary 
  • Assist in establishing and managing data integrations utilizing a taxonomy nomenclature to uncover learnings and insights
  • Maintain contact & collaboration with global strategy and media teams in development of final client deliverables (strategy plans, data delivery, campaign reporting, measurement plans, etc)
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations in collaboration with strategy and performance teams  
  • Collaborate with other Analytics teams (Advanced Analytics, Data Engineering/Dashboarding, etc) members on data efficiencies and analytics opportunities
  • Perform regular quality assurance/quality control checks to ensure local data sets are processing accurately in Global reporting platform
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Media, Analytics and related fields
  • Foundational knowledge of Media buying/planning/activation
  • Proficient skills using MS Office
    • Excel: Pivot tables, common formulas (Vlookups, IF functions, etc)
    • PowerPoint: Putting together client facing decks (campaign reporting, measurement strategies, etc)
  • Conceptual understanding of common media analytics & measurement concepts
    • Brand Lift Studies, Site Analytics MMM, Taxonomy Development, Conversion Tagging, TV Attribution, MTA, Creative Testing, etc
  • Hands on experience measuring paid media performance
  • Understanding of how to work large data sets from multiple sources to govern/clean the data
  • Experience with data processing, governing/cleaning and visualization tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must
  • Proactive communicator - comfortable working across teams and staying on top of communications on a day-to-day basis; proactively ask questions and seek answers
  • Ability to write clearly and translate data analysis into insights that can be acted upon by strategists, planners, and buyers alike
  • Comfort working with large sets of media data - ability to identify discrepancies in data sets.
  • Able to reclassify and/or map values in data to follow custom account classification guidelines
  • Experience in SQL, R and Python desired

 Compensation Range: USD $73,150.00 - USD $101,010.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
