Position Location

This position will be located onsite in Charleston, South Carolina.

Job Overview

Provides administrative support for Cybersecurity Operations functions at NIWC Atlantic.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:

  • Process IT access requests in SWAT, ISSF, or similar systems
  • Review SAAR-Ns, DD2875s, training certificates, user agreements, and related forms for completeness
  • Maintain forms and supporting documentation in SharePoint or other document repositories
  • Monitor and respond to requests received through functional mailboxes
  • Answer incoming calls to the ISSM Office and Operations Team phone lines
  • Assist customers with NMCI, Flank Speed, CAC, RDT&E, and IT access questions
  • Assist walk-in customers with account access and documentation questions
  • Prepare and maintain training materials and related artifacts
  • Upload forms and supporting documentation into TWMS or similar systems when required
  • Attend meetings and internal training sessions
  • Perform work in accordance with Government policies and procedures

  • We expect the employee to keep manager and supervisors apprised of their progress, maintain ability to work well with others, adhere to contract requirements, and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
  • Skilled in effectively managing and prioritizing taskings.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED and three (3) years in administrative support experience.
  • Administrative, clerical, customer service, or office support experience.
  • Basic computer and commotion skills.
  • Ability to work onsite NIWC Atlantic.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.

Preferred:

  • Experience in administrative support for
    o Commercial, Government or Private companies
    o Government Contracts

Working Conditions:

  • Position may be exposed to and is expected to protect internal/external confidential/unclassified information.
  • Work is generally performed indoors (sedentary).
  • Outdoor work, if any, is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time, sit, use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, or smell.
  • May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
