Job Title: Licensed Crane Truck Operator / Class A CDL Delivery Driver

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Licensed Crane Truck Operator / Class A CDL Delivery Driver Driver.

Supports the company by operating our crane truck and driving truck transporting materials and equipment to specific construction job sites performing the following duties.


Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ability to operate a crane / boom truck as needed.
  • Ability to operate semi-truck with 53’ trailer / Unrestricted CDL Class A
  • Verifies and secures loads.
  • Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck conditions.
  • Drives truck to assigned destination(s).
  • Assist workers in unloading and loading trucks when required.
  • Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, etc.
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
  • Fills work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
  • Maintains inventory records.
  • Maintains cleanliness for shop/warehouse/storage yard/parking lot/offices as needed.
  • Utilizes tow behind trailer to make deliveries and pickups.
  • Delivers and picks up permit applications, permits, and approved drawings.
  • Ability to understand and write a lift plan for crane operation.
  • Must be able to work OT and off hour shifts as required. (possible overnights on occasion)

  • Crane Operator Certification (OSHA/NCCCO) for Boom Truck—Fixed Cab (BTF)
  • Unrestricted CDL Class A.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 2+ years driving experience is required.
  • Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.
  • Possess or ability to obtain DOT Medical Card is required.
  • Valid driver’s license with driving record that meets or exceeds Company standards found in the Fleet Policy is required.
  • Must hold a current Class A CDL License.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift is required.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
  • Average experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications is required.
