We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is ideal for a finance expert who excels at managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and team leadership. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting organizational goals through strategic financial management.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial close process to maintain accurate and reliable accounting records.

• Prepare financial reports that adhere to compliance standards and organizational requirements.

• Develop, monitor, and evaluate budgets to align with organizational objectives.

• Conduct financial forecasts and analyze variances between actual results and budgets, providing actionable recommendations.

• Implement and enhance cash management strategies to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

• Guide and mentor the accounting team, promoting continuous improvement and attention to detail.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies in all financial operations.
