Corporate Controller

The role is a highly visible leadership position that will lead the accounting function across multiple business lines and support growth and systems transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all core accounting and financial reporting functions, including month‑end close, general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and tax filings.
  • Supervise internal and external financial reporting processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of assistant divisional controllers, driving consistency and shared standards across business lines.
  • Partner with cross‑functional leaders to support business initiatives and ensure alignment across finance and operations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the organization.
  • Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external auditors.
  • Strengthen and maintain internal controls, systems, and processes.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure strong financial stewardship.
  • Play a key role in the ERP transition, representing accounting in design decisions and helping drive smooth implementation.
  • Jump in where needed; the role requires proactive problem solving.
Requirements
  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading, developing, and coaching accounting teams.
  • Experience in multi‑entity or multi‑business environments; food manufacturing, CPG, or restaurant experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems; ERP implementation or transformation experience a strong plus.
  • Strong business acumen with a curiosity to understand operations beyond accounting.
  • Comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and organizational growth.
  • Collaborative and solutions‑oriented, with the ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or public accounting experience strongly preferred.
Salary & Benefits

The starting salary range is $180,000 to $210,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
