About The Role

We’re seeking freelance Performance Art Director Consultants to join our talent collective and support a range of clients across industries. This role is ideal for creative leaders who can concept and execute high-performing ad creative that drives measurable results across paid channels.

Projects may include developing performance creative strategies, leading creative production, iterating on ad concepts, and collaborating closely with growth and paid media teams. Contract engagements typically range from 10–40 hours per week.

What You'll Do
  • Present and communicate creative concepts to clients, clearly articulating rationale and performance strategy

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather feedback and refine creative direction

  • Concept and develop performance-driven creative across paid channels (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, display)

  • Lead the creation of ad assets including static, video, and motion content

  • Collaborate with growth, paid media, and copy teams to align on strategy and messaging

  • Develop creative testing frameworks and iterate based on performance data

  • Analyze creative performance and optimize based on insights

  • Guide visual direction, storytelling, and brand consistency across campaigns

  • Partner with designers, editors, and creators to bring concepts to life

  • Stay up to date on creative trends, platform best practices, and emerging formats

What We're Looking For
  • Ability to confidently present and pitch creative work to clients and stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills with experience incorporating client feedback into creative execution

  • Strong portfolio of performance-driven creative work across digital channels

  • Experience leading creative strategy for paid acquisition campaigns

  • Ability to balance brand storytelling with performance optimization

  • Experience working closely with growth and paid media teams

  • Understanding of platform-specific creative best practices (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

  • Strong visual design and art direction skills

  • Ability to iterate quickly and test multiple creative variations

  • Comfort working across different industries and brand styles
