Position Overview  
 

Kendra Scott is seeking a highly creative, social-first Content Creator to bring our brand to life across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms. This role is responsible for capturing, creating, and editing compelling content that reflects the spirit of Kendra Scott while driving engagement, relevance, and cultural connection.


The ideal candidate is equal parts storyteller, videographer, photographer, editor, and trend spotter. They thrive in fast-paced environments, have a strong understanding of social media culture, and are passionate about creating content that feels authentic, elevated, and native to each platform.


This role requires regular travel to attend brand events, influencer experiences, photoshoots, philanthropic initiatives, store openings, and culturally relevant moments where content can be captured in real time. 


Responsibilities

  • Capture and create social-first content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and emerging platforms 
  • Attend brand activations, influencer events, store openings, photoshoots, philanthropic events, and culturally relevant experiences to document and create real-time content 
  • Shoot and edit short-form video content, photography, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, and trend-driven content 
  • Partner closely with Social Media, Brand Marketing, PR, Influencer, and Creative teams to bring campaigns to life through social storytelling 
  • Identify and capitalize on relevant social trends, formats, sounds, creators, and cultural moments 
  • Create content that balances authenticity with elevated brand storytelling 
  • Develop concepts that showcase Kendra Scott's products, community, and values in engaging and relatable ways 
  • Capture content with both organic and paid social needs in mind 
  • Assist in content planning and ideation for seasonal campaigns, product launches, brand moments, and influencer partnerships 
  • Curate and incorporate user-generated content, creator content, and community storytelling opportunities 
  • Collaborate with influencers and talent during events to maximize content opportunities 
  • Monitor content performance and recommend optimizations based on engagement and platform trends 
  • Maintain a content library of photo and video assets for social use


Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience creating content for social media, brands, publishers, agencies, or creator platforms 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first photography, videography, and editing skills 
  • Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social platforms 
  • Proven ability to create engaging short-form video content that feels native to each platform 
  • Strong storytelling instincts and ability to translate brand objectives into compelling content 
  • Excellent visual eye for composition, styling, lighting, and trend-driven creative 
  • Comfortable working independently while traveling and capturing content in dynamic environments 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for events and activations 
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to support business needs.
