ABOUT DADDY SHACK

Daddy Shack is a mobile golf simulator service based in Austin, dedicated to delivering unforgettable entertainment at parties, weddings, and corporate events. We tailor every experience to the unique needs of each event. This summer, we are opening Daddy Shack Golf Club, a members-only indoor private golf club. We are actively building the membership base and brand awareness ahead of launch.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Content Creator will be a key driver of growth for Daddy Shack across both our mobile events business and the upcoming club launch. This is a highly visible, creative role that blends on-site filming, trend-aware editing, and strategic social media execution. You will capture the energy of our live events, document the exciting build-out of our new indoor club, and produce content that converts viewers into members and fans. If you love golf, live events, and building brands on social media from the ground up, this role was made for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mobile Events

• Film short-form content at live mobile simulator events (parties, weddings, corporate)

• Capture authentic customer interactions and reactions for social storytelling

• Appear on camera when needed to host, narrate, or participate in content

• Deliver content on a consistent, agreed-upon posting schedule

Club Launch - Daddy Shack ATX

• Document the construction and build-out of our indoor golf club with regular behind-the-scenes content

• Build pre-launch anticipation through teaser content, countdowns, and milestone reveals

• Create membership-focused content that communicates the club experience, amenities, and value

• Support launch day and grand opening content coverage

• Assist with any influencer or partnership content shoots related to the club launch

Strategy & Collaboration

• Work closely with the Brand Manager to execute video and content ideas

• Monitor and adapt to current Instagram Reels and TikTok trends in real time

• Coordinate with the broader team on upcoming events, announcements, and content opportunities

• Edit and post content natively optimized for Instagram and TikTok formats

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience creating short-form video content (portfolio or active account required)

• Strong familiarity with Instagram Reels and TikTok - you understand what performs

• Video editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Rush

• Comfortable filming and directing in live event settings with real guests

• At ease interacting with customers on-site to capture authentic moments

• Comfortable on camera - able to host or appear in content when needed

• Self-motivated and able to manage a content calendar with minimal oversight

• Passion for golf, lifestyle brands, or experiential entertainment a strong plus
