Job description

Villa Duchesne is seeking a welcoming, organized, and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Upper School team. This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), 10-month position that serves as the first point of contact for students, families, faculty, staff, and visitors in the 1929 Building. Reporting to the Middle and Upper School Principals, this position plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Upper School office while helping create a warm, professional, and responsive experience for every member of our school community. In addition to front office responsibilities, this position coordinates the administration of standardized testing programs, including the PreACT 8/9 and PSAT, working collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure a seamless testing experience for students.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. This individual demonstrates professionalism, discretion, exceptional customer service, and a genuine commitment to supporting the mission and values of Villa Duchesne and the Sacred Heart. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential to success in this role.
