About the Role


*This is a part-time MORNING shift position with 15-25 hours a week*

Our Prep Cooks/Dishwashers play an essential role in delivering the Champions Social Club experience by ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and upholds the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety. Working closely with the Executive Chef and Culinary team, you will prepare ingredients and menu items, maintain an organized and sanitary kitchen, and support daily operations through food preparation, dishwashing, and general kitchen maintenance. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to excellence help create an exceptional dining experience for every member and guest.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep according to recipes, production schedules, and the Daily Prep List.
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, prep, and dishwashing area in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Stock workstations and assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen setup.
  • Assist the Culinary team with basic food preparation, including cutting meats, vegetables, and other ingredients.
  • Follow proper food handling, labeling, rotation, and storage procedures using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
  • Operate, clean, and maintain the dish machine and other kitchen equipment.
  • Remove trash, complete daily cleaning tasks, and support overall kitchen cleanliness.
  • Work collaboratively with the Culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily kitchen operations.
Qualifications
  • Current Food Handler Certification required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Reliable attendance, flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of restaurant or food service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Understanding of basic cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation methods.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
