Located just 7-miles from the beach, Del Amo Behavioral Health offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, and several specialty programs. We serve ages 5 and up and have six units for a capacity of 166-beds. Whether addressing the needs of our seniors, adults, adolescents or children, we are committed to providing treatment for long-term recovery. The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer develops department goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies and procedures, and organizes the department in accordance with administrative guidelines. The ACNO functions in an advisory capacity to administration in evaluating proposed procedural changes as they relate to patient care. This position directs the implementation and ensures compliance with the Standard of Nursing Practice and regulatory compliance that promotes optimum health care delivery.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of CA.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required
• Three or more years of progressive nursing management experience required
• Experience as a Registered Nurse in a psychiatric setting preferred
• Demonstrated working knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management.
• Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
