Job description

ACCOUNTING CLERK

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the accounting department.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Post monthly journal entries
  • Prepare daily deposits in our system
  • Prepare GST, HST and QST reports
  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end files
  • Perform other related tasks for the department

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Fluency in English and French
