Moog's Corporate Group is looking for a new Chief Security Officer!

As the Chief Security Officer, you will act as the company's primary advisor on physical security, crisis and incident management, insider threat, and travel and event security, ensuring consistent global standards while enabling local execution. You will be both strategic and operationally grounded, requiring executive presence, strong judgment, and deep subject-matter expertise.

You will work a hybrid schedule, at our Corporate Headquarters in East Aurora, NY.

To qualify for the Chief Security Officer role, here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog...

  • A bachelor's degree in security management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Over 15 years of progressively responsible security leadership experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.

  • Certifications: PSP, CPP, or equivalent credentials highly desirable.

  • Experience with global regulatory frameworks.

  • Eligibility for high-level security clearance.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 25%.

  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.

As the Chief Security Officer, you will have the following responsibilities...

  • Build the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team, including regional security heads and external vendor partners.

  • Oversee the maturation of crisis management, incident response, and resiliency planning. Ensure robust incident command structures, training, and documentation for a wide range of global emergency scenarios.

  • Promote a culture of safety, security awareness, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization. Lead change management initiatives to embed security culture across global operations.

  • Utilize advanced analytics and threat intelligence to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.

  • Translate Global Security strategy into actionable, comprehensive security procedures covering physical, executive, travel, personnel, and operational security aligned with company objectives.

  • Proactively collaborate with Facilities and Real Estate teams on global facility expansions, renovations, and buildouts, advising on security requirements and driving implementation of recommendations.

  • Lead security assessment and mitigation initiatives and standardize site security measures (access control, CCTV, guard forces, etc.) across Moog's global footprint.

  • Lead investigations and serve as the senior liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies where required for localized or regional incidents.
