We are partnering with a healthcare organization in the Atlanta area seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial strategy and operations. This executive leadership role will oversee all aspects of finance and accounting while serving as a strategic business partner to executive leadership.

The CFO will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and operational finance oversight. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in healthcare finance, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive organizational performance in a dynamic environment.

This is an onsite opportunity offering high visibility and the ability to make a significant impact on the organization’s growth and financial direction.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all financial operations, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, budgeting, and reporting
  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Monitor financial performance, key metrics, and operational trends to drive business decisions
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reporting
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and financial risk assessment
  • Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and compliance procedures
  • Support operational efficiency initiatives and identify opportunities for cost optimization
  • Partner cross-functionally with operational and clinical leadership teams
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting staff
  • Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
  • Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience within the healthcare industry required
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare financial operations, reporting, and reimbursement structures
  • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
