Job description

Jack Frost National Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Bartender/Server/Beverage Cart! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
  • Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager with set-up and preparation of food items for all food outlets on the property
  • Carefully follow standard recipes while preparing all assigned items
  • Assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventory
  • Understand how to properly use and maintain the equipment
  • Perform necessary clean-up and sanitation maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Chef/Kitchen Manager
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils
  • Carry clean dishes to cook's line and other proper storage areas
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
  • Maintain an organized workstation and side work duties
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system
  • Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
  • Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques
  • Practice tray service for all food and beverage service
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
  • Stock and clean beverage cart throughout the day
  • Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol for this position
Other Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates good energy and motivation
  • Regular and reliable attendance
