We're looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Chef who enjoys creating nutritious meals in a structured environment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of teens in recovery. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in following established procedures, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring every meal is prepared safely and consistently.
What You'll Do
  • Assist the Head Chef with daily meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
  • Prepare meals according to menus, recipes, dietary requirements, and portion guidelines
  • Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served safely following food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, food prep areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Complete food temperature logs and daily production records
  • Assist with inventory management, stocking, grocery shopping, and receiving deliveries
  • Properly label and store food products to maintain freshness and safety
  • Report equipment repairs and maintenance needs to the Head Chef
