JOB DESCRIPTION- FULL-TIME
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects in Biology and Chemistry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for research, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and execution of research projects.
  • Conduct literature reviews to gather relevant information and background for ongoing research.
  • Collect and analyze data using various research methods, techniques, and software tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of research findings and assist in the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot research challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Assist in the organization and coordination of research activities, including participant data management.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals, grant applications, and ethical review submissions.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, work orders and keep up with the maintenance of the research space.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Research Director or Associate Director.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in science; Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Prior experience in academic or scientific research, preferably in cancer research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in research conduct and integrity.
