Our Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding our community relationships to ensure our service capabilities are reaching our clients and their loved ones.

Job Summary

The Home Care Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business, cultivating referral relationships and increasing awareness of our services in the local community. This role focuses on sales growth through strategic outreach, networking, and relationship management with healthcare professionals, facilities, and families.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and pursue new client and referral opportunities through cold calling, networking, and community involvement

· Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, senior centers, physicians, and discharge planners

· Educate referral partners and potential clients about services offered by the agency

· Conduct in-home consultations and assist in onboarding new clients

· Collaborate with the agency team to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction

· Track and report sales activities and results using CRM tools/excel

· Participate in community events, expos, and marketing campaigns to promote agency visibility

· Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals as set by leadership

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare, or related field preferred

· Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development (home care or healthcare industry preferred)        

· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

· Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities

· Knowledge of the local market and referral sources a plus

· Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the service area

· Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications

Work Hours

Monday through Friday 9 AM – 5 PM; occasional evening/weekend events in the community; occasional weekend client intake meetings

Work Location

90% field based, 10% office based
