We are hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide overall Behavior Supports to the clients and staff in our Enhanced Supervision Group Homes and Day Services. The BCBA will have 9 adult clients on their caseload and supervise the RBTs in each home. The group home program is through a state contract that does not require billable hours. BCBA will work in person 4 days a week and remote 1 day a week.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide documentation of the behavioral services provided during the designated hours, this documentation will be placed in provide and will have data/language that allows for billing under Delaware's Medicaid rules, the amount of time should also be in line with prior authorizations from the state.
  • Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports, proactive strategies, triggers, staff interventions, replacement behaviors, etc.
  • Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of clients served.
  • Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points.
  • Complete functional assessments annually and as needed.
  • Develop BSP's that meet DDDS standards and become involved with DE's PROBIS System (Peer Review of Behavior Intervention Strategies Committee)
  • Seek input and maintain effective communication with PCP team and supervisor.
  • Modify BSP annually as needed and create simple one-page summary of BSP.
  • Attend and present all BSP changes to DDDS for approval as needed.
  • Attend all agency, departmental and client specific meetings as directed.
  • Attend client psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
  • Conduct departmental training as directed.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.
  • Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
  • Ensure the health and safety of clients we serve.
  • Oversee and develop the RBT program for DE staff, provide ongoing CEU's for them, assist them in passing certification as needed, provide oversight per regulatory expectations.
  • Complete and develop ongoing competency evaluations for staff, including fidelity checks.
  • Develop the Benchmark Human Services Behavioral Support Services to expand to the greater DD population of Delaware or other needs identified

  • Masters' degree in related field.
  • Valid Delaware BCBA license
  • Valid driver's license.

  • 2 years of experience is preferred but not required
