Job description

Position Summary:
The Playbook Sports Bar Bartender is responsible for food and beverage service at the bar. The Bartenderis responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professionalmanner while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service. This role involves crafting classicand specialty cocktails, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, food service, managing inventory, andensuring compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies. The Bartender engages withguests to create a welcoming atmosphere, provides food and beverage menu knowledge, and worksclosely with the front-of-house team to support a seamless dining experience.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promotingour values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
4. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.
5. Ability to read, understand, follow, and execute standardized recipes.
6. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
7. Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and company policies.
8. Accurately take and deliver guest orders, including food when required.
9. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and follow proper cash handling procedures.
10. Assist in monitoring inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
11. Prepare garnishes, mixes, and ingredients needed for daily bar operations.
12. Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
13. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written
and verbal form. Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
2. Three (3) years prior bartending experience in a similar role and in a similar environment.
3. Must pass GRC testing for proficiency in required bartending knowledge, skills, and techniques viaa test administered by F&B Leadership.
4. Must be at least 21 years of age.
5. Must possess or obtain a Responsible Beverage Service State Certification.
6. Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.
7. Ability to handle a flexible work schedule, working weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

1. Dexterity: full use of arms and hands to hold, grab, pick up objects up to 7 hours/ day 88% of shift
2. Standing: unassisted up to 7 hours/day for 88% of the shift
3. Walking: up to 7 hours/day for 88% of the shift
4. Bending: 2 hours/day for 25% of the shift
5. Twisting: 2 hours/day for 25% of the shift
6. Climbing: including ladders, less than 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
7. Kneeling: 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
8. Squatting: 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
9. Carrying: full trays of food & beverages overhead- up to 25 lbs. for 2 hours/day for 25% of the shift
10. Lift/Carry/Pull: up to 50 lbs. up to 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
11. Push: up to 100 lbs. using a pushcart up to 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
12. Reaching: above the shoulders with the use of arms for 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
