Description
The Legacy Grille at Cragun's Resort is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-service oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager! This role helps ensure excellent customer service, smooth staff operations, and compliance with food safety and company standards while creating a welcoming experience for members, golfers, and guests!
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising daily restaurant and bar operations
  • Support hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Help manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and deposits
  • Help monitor inventory levels for the turn station and beverage carts, ensuring products are properly stocked, rotated, and available throughout the day; communicate restocking needs and assist with ordering to prevent shortages.
  • Assist with the operational aspects of banquets and golf tournaments, including setup, staffing coordination, service execution, and breakdown.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service timing
  • Assist with inventory control, ordering, and cost management
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Support event and tournament food & beverage operations
  • Step in to lead shifts in the absence of the Restaurant Manager

Requirements
  • 3 years of previous restaurant or hospitality supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling
