Job description

A well-established, high-volume full-service restaurant is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead daily guest service operations and help drive a strong hospitality culture.


This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands how to run a busy dining room, develop service teams, maintain high standards, and keep the operation moving during peak periods.


The ideal candidate is a confident restaurant leader who can balance exceptional guest service with strong operational execution.


What You Will Do

  • Oversee daily front of house operations and ensure consistent service standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop servers, hosts, bartenders, and other front of house team members.
  • Manage the dining room during high volume service and ensure smooth communication between the front and back of house.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain standards for service, cleanliness, organization, and overall restaurant presentation.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Coach team members on hospitality, service standards, menu knowledge, and proper procedures.
  • Monitor labor and staffing levels to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed without sacrificing service quality.
  • Support sales growth and restaurant profitability through strong operational execution.
  • Work closely with culinary leadership to ensure food and service are delivered consistently.
  • Assist with inventory, cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and other administrative responsibilities.


What We Are Looking For

  • 3 or more years of progressive restaurant management experience.
  • Strong front of house leadership experience in high volume, full service restaurants.
  • Experience managing large service teams in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant service, labor management, guest recovery, and daily operations.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop hourly employees.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and decisive during high volume periods.
  • Hands on leadership style with a genuine focus on hospitality.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and service.
  • Stable career history with demonstrated progression in restaurant leadership.
