Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Specialist to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth across digital platforms. This individual will play a key role in developing and executing strategic social media campaigns, with a strong emphasis on short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels) and real-time brand storytelling.


This role will also support Apex’s broader creative and branding efforts, including graphic design, digital design, print media, flyers, promotional materials, and maintaining a cohesive visual identity across platforms.


This role will work cross-functionally with leadership and operations to bring the Apex brand to life through compelling, data-driven content and creative marketing materials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, launch, and optimize end-to-end social media campaigns aligned with brand and business objectives
  • Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
  • Manage content calendars and ensure consistent, strategic posting cadence
  • Leverage platform analytics, insights, and performance metrics to refine content strategy and improve engagement (KPIs: reach, impressions, conversion, follower growth)
  • Identify and capitalize on trending content, audio, and platform algorithms to maximize visibility
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to execute brand storytelling and campaign initiatives
  • Support broader digital marketing efforts, including SEO, brand positioning, and online reputation management
  • Assist in building and maintaining a cohesive brand voice and visual identity across all channels
  • Create and support the development of flyers, advertisements, promotional materials, presentations, social media graphics, and other branded content
  • Demonstrate an understanding of graphic design, digital design, and print media and how each supports the overall brand
  • Assist with creating materials for both digital and print distribution
  • Maintain consistency in branding, design, messaging, fonts, imagery, and overall visual presentation
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop creative concepts and visual assets for events, campaigns, announcements, recruitment, and community initiatives
  • Stay current on design trends, social media trends, and emerging creative platforms and tools
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing
  • Proven experience building and executing successful social media campaigns
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, audience targeting, and engagement tactics
  • Working knowledge of graphic design, print media, digital design, and branding
  • Experience creating flyers, digital graphics, promotional materials, and other marketing collateral
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing funnels
  • Proficiency in video editing and design tools (CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
  • Experience using analytics tools (native platform insights, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Portfolio of creative work demonstrating social media, graphic design, branding, video, or digital content preferred
