Job description

General Summary:

As a key member of the sales staff, reports directly to the On/Off Premise Area Sales Manager and is responsible for sales and distribution of all HDC products within an assigned territory. Major functions include the timely execution of marketing programs, the effective use of temporary and permanent points of sale, proper merchandising of HDC products in all assigned accounts, and maintaining the quality standards of HDC’s suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. The selling of all products represented by HDC in an assigned territory.
  2. Ensure the high standards of quality and freshness required by HDC are maintained.
  3. Achieve effective distribution management.
  4. Execute effective sales and marketing programs.
  5. Maintain accurate route books and transmit orders in a timely manner.
  6. Submit all required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Keep the temporary and permanent point of sale clean and in good working order.
  2. Assist the merchandisers when needed.
