The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is seeking an Assistant Team Lead Analyst to provide comprehensive analytical support services for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Information Management Division's (IMD) Enterprise Vetting Center (EVC) Vetting Branch 1 (VB1). This position is contingent upon successful contract award. Location: Onsite at the Records Operation Center (ROC): 170 Marcel Drive, Winchester, VA 22602. Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS): 1000 Custer Hollow Road, Clarksburg, WV, 23606. Hours: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday-Friday. Contract personnel may work flexible hours based on their needs as long as they are present during IMD core work hours, 9:00am to 2:30pm. Travel: N/A Clearance: Active Top-Secret Security clearance with CI Poly eligibility. Employment Type: Full-Time Client: FBI IMD EVC Administrative & Analytical Support (AAS) Key Responsibilities: * Assist the Team Lead in managing and coordinating the activities of the team, providing support to ensure efficient workflow and task allocation. * Review not-reportable information requests submitted by team members, ensuring that they meet necessary quality standards before submission to the Team Lead for final review. * Respond to inquiries and questions from team members, providing guidance and clarification to resolve issues quickly and effectively, thus freeing up the Team Lead's time for higher-level tasks. * Support the mentoring and development of team members by addressing routine queries and reinforcing best practices and analytical methodologies. * Collaborate with the Team Lead to assess workload distribution and assist in balancing tasks across the team to meet deadlines and organizational goals. * Ensure that the team's work complies with applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies, particularly regarding data protection and security protocols. * When capacity permits, may assist the Team Lead in performing routine vetting requests, as required by the position of a Research Analyst. Required Qualifications: * Active Top-Secret Clearance with CI Poly eligibility is required. * A minimum of (2) or more years of hands-on experience in research, analysis, or investigations, specifically in a government or security-related environment. * Experience in assisting with the review and validation of the work of junior analysts, ensuring the accuracy and quality of reports and findings, with a focus on non-reportable information requests. * Familiarity with derogatory information assessments, background checks, and vetting processes. * Ability to manage smaller, routine workloads and assist in balancing tasks across the team to meet deadlines, maintaining high standards of performance. * Strong support and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide junior analysts in everyday tasks and answer their questions to free up the Team Lead's time. * Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing work, particularly in non-reportable information, and identifying discrepancies or errors that may need further review by the Team Lead. * Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members regarding routine inquiries or technical questions. * Effective communication skills, able to clearly articulate simple to moderate issues or inquiries to both team members and management. * Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in addressing routine issues or providing clarification on processes or findings. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive or classified information in accordance with applicable security regulations and policies.
