Job Description
As the Credit Analyst, you will support the bank's lending function with a strong focus on commercial lending. You'll partner closely with lenders and the credit team to analyze financial data, assess risk, and help ensure sound credit decisions-while keeping lending operations running efficiently and compliantly.
Additionally, you will:
  • Underwrite and analyze commercial loan requests, including financial spreading and risk grading
  • Prepare and review credit memos and loan presentations for accuracy and completeness
  • Evaluate financial statements, cash flow, and tax returns to assess borrower risk and trends
  • Assist with annual reviews of commercial clients and monitor changes in credit risk
  • Support centralized lending processes, including underwriting, documentation, and due diligence
  • Review loan documentation to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations
  • Track and collect financial information from commercial clients
  • Assist with lien filings/releases, flood determinations, and insurance tracking
  • Support loan administration tasks, including escrow accounts and loan system maintenance
  • Balance general ledger accounts and process loan-related transactions
  • Prepare reports and support board-level loan presentations
  • Provide overall administrative and analytical support to the lending team

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial credit or loan administration (community bank experience preferred)
  • Strong financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and identify potential risks or inconsistencies
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • High school diploma required; degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
