As an Assistant Manager at our Madison airport location, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Under the direction of the Airport Manager, you will help foster a positive team environment while coaching and mentoring employees to enhance their sales and customer service skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the airport location.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop staff to excel in sales and customer service.
  • Assist in hiring, training, evaluating, and scheduling employees.
  • Report all aspects of productivity to the Airport Manager.
  • Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, handling inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience while promoting additional products and services.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including mid-shifts, evenings and weekends.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Total earning potential: $60,000 - $70,000 per year. This will include an hourly base rate plus uncapped incentive bonuses for sales upgrades and additional services.

Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be physically able to assist customers at the rental counter, including standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled.
  • Able to effectively handle confidential information.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid state driverโ€™s license and good driving record.
