Assistant Administrator

ALIYA Healthcare is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Administrator to support the overall operations of our skilled nursing facility. This position works closely with the Administrator and department leaders to ensure regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, employee engagement, and exceptional resident care.

The ideal candidate is an emerging healthcare leader with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills who is looking to grow within long-term care administration.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Administrator in the day-to-day management and operation of the facility

  • Support department directors in achieving operational, clinical, and financial goals

  • Help ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities

  • Participate in facility surveys, audits, and inspections

  • Monitor facility operations and identify opportunities for process improvement

  • Assist with quality assurance, performance improvement, infection control, and risk management initiatives

  • Support employee engagement, retention, and staff development programs

  • Assist with budget monitoring and resource allocation efforts

  • Help address resident, family, and employee concerns and facilitate appropriate resolutions

  • Attend leadership meetings, care plan meetings, and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed

  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information, including protected health information (PHI)

  • Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and resident-centered care
