Job description

Job Advertisement: Role:
To provide operations and administrative support to the Business Development Officers, Trust Administrative Officer and Trust Operations Officer.
Position Functions:
• Provide support to the Business Development Officers, the Trust Administrative Officer, & Trust Operations Officer.
• Responsible for posting receipts, including interest & dividend processing.
• Responsible for escrow transaction processing.
• Assist with farm management accounting and transaction processing.
• Provide service to customers for enhanced online access.
• Develop skillset to ensure ability to provide full back-up to the Trust Operations Officer.
• Provide support in all areas of Trust Operations, including scanning, filing, and data input.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Trust Administrative Officer including providing assistance with account opening and closing processes, and new client onboarding.
• Provide support to the Trust Sales Assistant.
• Design, develop and maintain departmental spreadsheets as needed.
• Responsible for client mailings, department marketing e-mails, etc.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Position Standards:
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: A college degree (BS or BA in relevant field, an Accounting Degree preferred).
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves personal contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information, which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (customers or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and exchanging factual information.
Other Skills: Goal-oriented, good problem-solver, self-starter, reliable, and effective communicator. High level of organization skill and attention to detail. Advanced computer skills include Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Typing and 10-key operations skills along with a demonstrated accounting acumen and the ability to work well with customers.
