SCOPE
You provide market support to commercial & agricultural lenders by coordinating activity in support of the credit approval & documentation processes as well as supporting bank customers providing service in account management, operations, documentation, customer service & technical support. You also provide support to consumer lenders. You provide the support & care to create an AMAZING client experience!
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lending Support - 70%
  • You possess an excellent knowledge & understanding of bank loan policies & procedures, regulations, compliance standards, loan documents, title work, appraisals & organizational documents.
  • You coordinate the process of closing new loans & renewals with the lender to ensure that necessary items are requested & received in order to properly close the loan. This includes the following:
  • You manage the maturing notes report to anticipate loan renewals. Review file for document deficiencies & work with the lender to request necessary information from the borrower. Coordinate/Create annual financial information request letters for Lenders.
  • You request credit presentations from credit analysts. Ensure all information needed to complete the review is provided.
  • You work with Title Companies to obtain preliminary & final title policies, review title work for accuracy prior to closing & create a pre-closing markup to be completed at loan closing. Review Final Title work to markup & review with lender for accuracy to ensure the Bank's mortgage is in the proper position.
  • You complete the appraisal or evaluations request.
  • You complete & review UCC lien searches (Pre-close, Post Close & annual as needed).
  • You request loan document packages from Loan Operations, review documents for accuracy & assemble closing loan document package for lender.
  • You prepare extensions or change in term forms as needed.
  • You manage construction loans & draw requests for the market.
  • You schedule & assist with loan closings as requested by lender.
  • You submit loans to Loan Operations after closing, review loans in the core banking system for accuracy & scan loan documents.
  • You track & follow up on post-closing items such as recorded mortgages, final title work, lien cards & assignments of life insurance. Complete post filing UCC searches & review to ensure proper filing & lien position.
  • You qualify new loans for FHLB.
  • You create & maintain consistent & organized loan files according to bank standards. Scan all documents received. Move old information to transfer files per procedures. Complete loan file checklist.
  • You perform services for clients including, but not limited to, advances, payments, wire transfers & account inquiries.
  • You review & manage loan ticklers, create ticklers for new loans, update or remove ticklers for all documents received, print tickler list & review with lenders.
  • You coordinate information needed to present to lender to determine if collateral should be released when loan is paid. Create Loan Change Forms, satisfactions & prepare lien cards for release as needed.
  • You provide support to consumer lenders on file management, scanning & ticklers.
Credit Administration - 20%
  • You complete correspondence & assist in schedule management for market leader & commercial/agricultural lenders. Assist with Board or Executive reports for the branch as needed.
  • You provide clerical services to the lending officers such as drafting correspondence, creating spreadsheets, making copies, filing & scanning documents.
  • You answer client inquiries on bank products, services, accounts & policies; promote cross selling; research & correct account discrepancies.
  • You provide other market support to the market leader as assigned.
Other - 10%
  • You are required to achieve referral results based on annual targets communicated by supervisor.
  • You comply with organization policies, systems, process & procedures with a strong commitment to the overall direction & focus of the organization.
  • As a part of the overall team of bank employees, you may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities.

While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc. You have the ability to operate a computer, carry, handle & feel objects; reach with hands & arms; communicate effectively & efficiently in person & over the phone. You must occasionally lift &/ or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance. You have the ability to travel to other locations as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & ability to adjust focus.
