Position Name: Project Manager I

Location: Plano,TX

Compensation: $1800.00 Weekly

Duration : 6 months.
Scope of Work:

Central Region - based in Plano or satellite office . Ericsson has been selected as one of the vendors for Sprint's Network Modernization Program (NMP), internally called as "Sprint Leapfrog Program". As the name suggests, the Program consists of preparing the network for the future generations, by replacing the legacy CDMA equipment with the new generation of Ericsson equipment, based on the Multimodal RBS 6000 family.
This new generation equipment will accommodate the existing CDMA technology in the first phase and introduce the LTE network. To support both technologies, Ericsson will design and implement a backhaul network, based on microwave equipment, fully IP-based. The core will be replaced as well on the 3G side and the entire 4G core solution will be added. Ericsson will do all the services from Site Acquisition, Civil Works, Design, Installation, Implementation and Optimization in its markets. Sprint has awarded 5 Regions to Ericsson, which will start with 9 markets in 2012: Nashville, Orlando, Miami, New Orleans, Jacksonville, South West Florida, Memphis, Tampa and Austin. Each market will require a Project Manager, as per agreement with Sprint.
THE ASSIGNMENT This assignment states that the appointed person is assigned the role as Backhaul Customer Project Manager for the Orlando and Jacksonville Market. The Backhaul; PM will be responsible for managing and reporting the market activities from initial planning, design, implementation and optimization. They will be working with internal teams and customer to plan, schedule, staff, and update progress. Update stakeholders with written reporting and status calls.
TASKS UNDER THIS ASSIGNMENT Prepare and track the Civils workbook in which is pricing to Sprint the Backhaul services and materials needed to complete the Backhaul Cx. Report the project status to both internal and external stakeholders as required and defined in the Communications Plan.
ASSIGNMENT ORGANIZATION, REPORTING AND HANDOVER Assignment is performed within the framework of Core Three, and corresponding ways of working. Outcome in any stage of the assignment is reported to Contract Fulfillment Responsible (CFR).
