Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska, with Epic proficiency and acute care experience required.

Details
  • Works in a Case Management unit within a 407-bed Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma, acute care hospital recognized as a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours; shift start times vary between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required, or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule
  • Floating between all facilities within the state is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
  • No on-call requirements
  • Charting performed in Epic
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Free on-site parking available
Requirements
  • Active Alaska (AK) RN license currently in hand โ€” required for consideration
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Acute care experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility โ€” local candidates are not accepted
Additional Information
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
  • RTO is limited to one request of 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO
  • Previous work history at any Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must be disclosed, including location and dates
  • Block scheduling is not available for this position
