General Manager – Aspen Suites Hotel Juneau JL Hospitality Management is seeking a motivated and hands-on leader to step into a General Manager role at Aspen Suites Hotel Juneau. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging hospitality leader who is ready to take the next step in their career and gain full property leadership experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for an Operations Manager, or Assistant General Manager looking to grow into a General Manager position.

You'll have the opportunity to lead a smaller, select-service hotel, allowing for meaningful hands-on involvement in daily operations while building strong leadership skills. You will also have the opportunity to partner with and learn from experienced leaders within JL Hospitality as we continue to grow our presence in Alaska. What You'll Do Lead Daily Operations (Hands-On Leadership) Oversee day-to-day operations across Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance Stay actively involved in the operation, stepping in where needed to support the team Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained property Create a Great Guest Experience Lead by example in delivering friendly, responsive service Resolve guest concerns quickly and thoughtfully Monitor feedback and continuously look for ways to improve Build and Support Your Team Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new associates Train, coach, and support team members in their development Foster a positive, team-first culture Learn and Grow Financial & Business Skills Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts Monitor key performance metrics such as occupancy and REVPAR Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for improvement Community & Property Presence Represent the hotel within the local community Support sales efforts and build relationships with local partners What We're Looking For A strong team leader who is ready to step into a General Manager role Hands-on mindset.
