Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,614 to $1,645 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights on a 12x3 schedule. Setting: hospital-based med-surg/PCU care. This assignment requires travel and active licensure as applicable to the state.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to medical-surgical and progressive care patients, including ongoing assessment and monitoring of vital signs and clinical status.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify individualized care plans; coordinate with charge nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff.
- Respond to changes in patient condition, implement escalation protocols, and ensure patient safety and privacy.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education as appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Med Surg or Progressive Care/Step-down or Intermediate Care.
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with guaranteed hours; schedule requires flexibility and holiday coverage.
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia (or as applicable per travel assignment requirements).
- Must meet unit-specific holiday expectations (two major holidays and one minor holiday per cycle).
