Job description

Role: Content Creator

Location: Grand Rapids, United States

About the role:

We're looking for a social-first content creator to join our team and help power a modern, always on content engine for BISSELL. This role is built for someone who lives in social feeds, understands platform-native storytelling, and can create high performing content at scale - not just one-off hero assets. You'll sit at the intersection of culture, creativity and craft - ideating, producing, shooting, editing and evolving content designed to feel native to Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and emerging platforms. This is not a traditional production or creative role. This is a creator-minded, performance-aware, culture-driven content role.

Your responsibilities will include

Create Social First Content at Scale:

  • Concept, shoot, and edit high-volume, platform native content across key social platforms
  • Translate brand priorities, product stories, and cultural moments into snackable,
    thumbstopping content.

Move at the Speed of Culture:

  • Partner with social strategists to spot trends, sounds, formats and behaviors early to turn them into on-brand content
  • Participate in agile, real-time content around launches, moments and events
  • Contribute ideas proactively - not just execute briefs.

Think like a creator, not a producer:

  • Optimizing content for stronger performance
  • Continuously test, learn and evolve creative formats based on performance.
  • Own End to End Creation

    • Shoot (iPhone + light production set ups)
    • Edit (CapCut, Premier, Final Cut etc)
    • Design lightweight motion and text overlays
  • Deliver ready-to-post assets optimized per platform.
  • Strong experience in new and existing creator tools for editing
Minimum requirements
  • 2-5 years creating social first video content (agency, brand, or creator background)
  • A Deep understanding of: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest
  • A Portfolio that shows: Short form video; Platform native storytelling; Trend-awareness executions
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $76,500.00 to $85,500.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER's total compensation package.
